About Toby White

Toby White's career in South Florida real estate business spans 20 years. He spent the first 2 years with Coldwell Banker and the past 24 years in the mortgage business. Toby's mortgage career started with Great Western Bank. For five years he consistently won top agent of the year for Florida. Since then he has been self-employed with Toby White, Inc., now doing business as Mortgage by the Sea.

Toby holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Florida Atlantic University (graduated 1981). Toby is a former state mortgage licensure instructor at Gold Coast Schools and has been a mentor to numerous professionals in the mortgage business in the Fort Lauderdale area. Toby's marriage to Caroline is nearing a quarter of a century, and has three daughters; Morgan, age 22, just graduated from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania with a degree in International Relations and is in the job market, Courtney, age 21, is a senior at Wellesley in Massachusetts, and McKenzie, age 4, and not currently enrolled anywhere, but she is trying. Besides being a 19 year member of the South Florida Flats Anglers fishing club, Toby also enjoys analog audio, cooking, wine, theater and travel.
